-
- RESOURCES
-
- Netsurfer provides the user with a tool by which they can effectively
- manage and navigate through the myriad of resources available on
- the Internet. Netsurfer provides a powerful resource management
- paradigm with its Resource index. The resource index allows the
- user to group resources by category. Each category is represented
- by an index card that has a title and a shelf area. The shelf area
- works exactly like the NEXTSTEP Workspace Manager shelf.
-
- BROWSING
-
- Netsurfer features a fully multi-theaded interface, allowing users
- to perform multiple operations simultaneously while browsing
- resources. Complete with buttons for frequent operations, such as
- saving copies of documents and adding references to resources to
- the Resource Index, Netsurfer's document browser is unsurpassed
- for simplicity and ease-to-use.
-
- When browsing FTP file archive servers, Netsurfer provides an
- intuitive hierarchical browser for navigating and selecting directories
- and files on the remote computer. Transferring files to the user's
- computer is a simple drag and drop. Netsurfer provides both file
- upload and download, as well as queuing of multiple files, recursive
- downlaods of entire directories, and drag and drop with the Workspace
- manager.

-
- Netsurfer provides a variety of options that allow the user to
